Like all the brand’s sneakers, its outsole is made from latex from Amazonia. A Veja team lives in theregion to provide on-the-ground support to its cooperatives and producer families, including satellite monitoring to ensure no illegal deforestation and capacity-building for best practices and gender equality, valuing the role played by women in the rubber process.
